#28/SDCC 2014: San Diego Weather for Comic-Con Week!

Comic-Con International 2014 Toucan Tip of the Day

No, we’re not meteorologists, nor do we play one on TV, but we can look ahead a little and tell you what the weather will be for the coming week, during Comic-Con International 2014. (Not that we have much weather here in San Diego, beyond sunny or dark!)

We've had a couple of weeks of morning May Gray or June Gloom in July, so you may see cloudy mornings with the sun burning it off by mid-morning or early afternoon ... or not at all. When you live on the eastern edge of the world's biggest body of water, it's kinda hard to predict.

Here’s how the coming week looks:

Monday: Partly cloudy, high temps in the mid-70s

Tuesday: Partly cloudy, high temps in the mid-70s

Wednesday (Preview Night): AM Clouds, PM Sun, high temps in the low-80s

Thursday (SDCC Day 1): AM Clouds, PM Sun, high temps in the low-80s

Friday (SDCC Day 2): AM Clouds, PM Sun, high temps in the low-80s

Saturday (SDCC Day 3): Partly cloudy, High temps in the high-70s

Sunday (SDCC Day 4): Partly cloudy, High temps in the high-70s

Monday:  Do you really care about the weather on the Monday after Comic-Con? Sleep in!

Chance of rain for the week: 0% each day. Which brings up an important point: California and the Southwest are in the midst of a years-long drought. Please follow any guidelines posted at your hotel or wherever you're staying to help conserve water.

Bring that light jacket or hoodie or sweater to the Convention Center (or buy one at Comic-Con!), where it tends to get chilly with the air conditioning! You may need one at night, too.
