Leave Your Car at Home and Take Public Transportation
Every morning in the 30 days leading up to Comic-Con (from June 18 to July 17), we’re going to offer our “Toucan Tip of the Day,” a tiny tidbit of terrific information that we hope will help you enjoy the show just a little bit better. When you get ready to make your local travel plans to Comic-Con—whether it be from home, the airport, your hotel, or the Santa Fe train depot—you have numerous options. We definitely recommend public transportation. San Diego has an excellent Trolley system, with two stops directly in front of the Convention Center (one at Harbor and First, the other at Harbor and Fifth) and numerous “park and ride” lots throughout the system. There is also our fleet of FREE Shuttle buses, which leave from the front walk of the Convention Center and go to most of our official hotels. Our Transportation page is completely updated, so click here for more info, including the MTS Trolley System, the COASTER commuter train, and Amtrak California service to San Diego!
