001: Toucan Tips Are Back!
We’re less than a month away from Comic-Con 50 on July 18–21 at the San Diego Convention Center (with Preview Night on Wed., July 17), and it’s time to power up the ol’ Toucan Tip Machine! That’s right, the bird is back with important info, tips, and what’s new at the world’s premier comics and pop culture convention! We’ll be coming to you most weekdays with another special tidbit that will help enhance your knowledge about this year’s big event!

The Gathering at Comic-Con Museum
The first ever gala fundraiser for the upcoming Comic-Con Museum is on Wednesday, July 17 in Balboa Park. Click here for important info on how to attend!

Shuttle Schedule Changes
If you take the Comic-Con Free Shuttle Service to and from your hotel and the San Diego Convention Center, we've made some changes to the schedule this year. Click here for important info about the schedule, plus a link to the route map!
Harbor Drive Restrictions
Harbor Drive in front of the San Diego Convention Center (between First Avenue and Park Boulevard) will be restricted to ALL traffic, including cars, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and shared mobility devices (dockless bicycles and scooters). You will need a valid Comic-Con 2019 badge or confirmed registration in-hand for access to any part of the San Diego Convention Center, including the front drive, terraces, sidewalks, Plaza Park area, or the Ace Parking underground garage during the event. Comic-Con’s Robert A. Heinlein Blood Drive
Comic-Con is the largest San Diego-area Blood Drive, and you can be a part of it! Schedule an appointment NOW to give blood at the event and get some cool swag! Click here for more info.

Souvenir Book Cover
It’s our 50th Comic-Con, so what better way to celebrate than have one of the most popular comics artists do a massive wraparound cover … right? And not only a wraparound cover, but one with THIRTEEN different comics characters from five different companies!
