019: Badge Information and Deets
Your badge is the key that unlocks all things Comic-Con 2022! Before you start your nerdy and pop culture quest, here’s some important information to help guide you through and receive all the necessary items like your Bag, Books, and Lanyard (BBL)!
Picking up your badge on-site? If so, remember to bring these two items: a valid photo ID and your badge confirmation. Bring both with you upstairs to the Registration Area in the Sails Pavilion at the San Diego Convention Center to receive your badge. For hours, please visit our Badge Pick-Up page.
Access your Comic-Con 2022 badge confirmation by following the instructions below:
Log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account
Hover over the “Account” tab until a dropdown appears.
Select “My Badges” from the dropdown.
Click the yellow “Details” button on your Comic-Con 2022 badge order.
Click the “Resend Confirmation” button.
It’s that easy! If you do not receive your confirmation within 30 minutes, please check under the “My Account Information” section on your Account Dashboard to make sure you’ve selected “Yes” to “Do you want to receive marketing emails?”
Bag, Books, and Lanyard Pick-Up
You have your badge, you’ve mapped the floor, and you’re ready to celebrate Comic-Con 2022! Now all you need is your lanyard to show off that badge, your bag to help carry all your exclusive merch, and your books to help you navigate the event.
Our Events Guide, Quick Guide, Comic-Con lanyard, and bags will be available for pick-up upstairs in the Sails Pavilion of the Convention Center. Here’s what you need to know:
WHERE: The Badged Member Bags, Books, and Lanyards (BBL) distribution area is located upstairs in the Sails Pavilion near Ballroom 20.
HOW: Enter the Badged Member Bags, Books, and Lanyards line from the Ballroom 20 Lobby via Lobby E or the Lobby G escalator.
Badged members, please do not attempt to pick up your bag, books, and lanyard in the main Registration Area where badge pick-up takes place.
WHEN: Your books, bag, and lanyard will be available for pick-up on the day of your earliest badge, at the times below:

Tuesday, July 19*: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday, July 20: 10:00 AM– 9:00 PM
Thursday–Saturday, July 21–23: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday, July 24: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
*If you’d like to pick up your bag, books, and lanyard ahead of time, all attendee badge types are welcome on Tuesday! Just make sure you don’t leave these items at home—you won’t be able to pick up replacements.
Remember, steer clear of long lines and wait times by avoiding the Badge Registration Area in the Sails Pavilion as well as the Lobby B/C escalator.
RFID Stickers are Stickin’ Around!
Your badge is made up of two pieces: your plastic badge holder with attached RFID sticker and your daily or 4-Day paper name badge(s). You must wear and properly display your complete badge at all times on-site and at any official Comic-Con event.
Your badge is considered invalid if it is missing a paper name badge or the plastic holder with an attached RFID sticker.
Access to the San Diego Convention Center will be denied to those with damaged or tampered badges/RFID stickers. If your RFID sticker becomes damaged, or has been removed, please bring your badge confirmation, damaged badge/sticker, and valid photo ID to the Attendee Badge Solutions Desk upstairs in the Sails Pavilion when you arrive on-site.
Badge Privacy Updates
Comic-Con does not rent, sell, lend or give its mailing list to anyone other than parties that need the information to assist in producing our events (e.g., the registration and housing companies).
