Comic-Con 2023 Returning Registration
Returning Registration is on October 15, 2022!
We repeat, October 15 is when Returning Registration for Comic-Con 2023 will commence!! Get those credit cards saved, double-check your emails and Member IDs, and make sure you communicate with your friends if you decide to purchase for them. 

The Queue-it waiting room will open at 8:00 AM PDT, and the badge sale will commence at 9:00 AM PDT. If you don’t see your question answered here, head over to Returning Registration First Look. Final Returning Registration FAQs

Returning Registration is open to all Comic-Con 2022 and Comic-Con Special Edition 2021 paid attendees. To see if you are eligible, log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account. Then, on your Account Dashboard, look for “Eligibility: ✓ Comic-Con 2023 Returning Registration” located in the upper left corner under your name, Member ID, and email.

The virtual waiting room will open at 8:00 AM PDT on October 15. If you log in to your Member ID account between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM PDT, you will automatically be put into the waiting room without any additional steps needed.

If you are logged in to your account before the waiting room opens, click “Returning Registration” from the top menu bar after 8:00 AM PDT.

No. You will not be able to access your account details once you enter the waiting room. If you’re purchasing for others, it’s important that you collect their Member ID and last name ahead of the sale! If they can’t remember whether or not the last name used on their account includes an accent or a hyphen, they won’t be able to access their Account Dashboard to confirm.

To manage traffic on the day of the sale, technically anyone who logs in to their Member ID account around that time will enter a virtual waiting room. However, only those who are eligible for Returning Registration will be placed into the randomized queue for the badge sale. Ineligible members in the waiting room will be returned to their Account Dashboard once traffic slows down.

We’ve tried to make the entire registration process a bit more streamlined this year which means ... no codes! If you’re eligible for Returning Registration you’ll see “Eligibility: ✓ Comic-Con 2023 Returning Registration” in your Account Dashboard. Come the day of the sale, all you’ll have to do is log in between 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM PDT, and you’ll be automatically put into the waiting room!

No. It does not matter what time you’ve entered the waiting room – any entry to the waiting room does not guarantee you a registration session. Not all members will be selected for a registration session.

The short answer is Yes! There are a few requirements to be aware of before you do so. Your friends must be eligible for Returning Registration to have badges purchased for them. You will need their Member ID and their Last Name exactly as it appears on their account. If they have a special character in their name, you must include it!

If you’re selected for a registration session, only the days still available for purchase will be shown. Status messages will be posted periodically in the waiting room to let you know when inventory for each day is running low. Once all badges have sold out for this sale, the waiting room will close. There is a small chance that you will be selected for a registration session near the end of the sale only to find there aren’t any badges available.

If you are successful in purchasing a badge for Comic-Con 2023 (*cue the applause), your badge will be sent directly to you! To double-check that your shipping address is correct, log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account. From your Account Dashboard, click “My Addresses” to confirm your "Primary Shipping Address" is current.

Updating your address sooner than later is always helpful. While you do not need to have your address updated before the Returning Registration badge sale, it is always best to keep your shipping address up to date at all times. Scroll down to the “Badge Shipping” section of our Badge Info page for instructions on how to designate your shipping address.

Entry to the waiting room does not guarantee you a badge or registration session.
