WonderCon Anaheim Games offered 25 different game titles to play for free during the convention.  New in 2013 was Kaijudo during the day and Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40K during nighttime gaming. The free games to play all weekend included: Fluxx, Guillotine, Malifaux, Monsterpocalypse, Munchkin, Pandemic, Pirates, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Tsuro, Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40K, and many more.

WonderCon Anaheim featured an open gaming area with tables available to play any game you wish. Please bring your supplies and come on down! Your game not supported? Think again! We had plenty of space for all your favorites, with a friendly and knowledgeable game staff to help you get your game on. Players are already looking for head-to-head matches for Bakugan, HeroClix, Kaijudo, Magic, Malifaux, Monsterpocolypse, Pokémon, Versus System, Warhammer, and Yu-Gi-Oh!

When the Exhibit Hall closed each night, we made the transition to nighttime gaming events held in our headquarters hotel, the Anaheim Marriott, located just outside of the Convention Center, opposite the Hilton Anaheim hotel. WonderCon Anaheim nighttime games was located in the Marquis Ballroom Center, on the lobby level of the Anaheim Marriott.

WonderCon Anaheim 2013 featured these separate Sanctioned Tournaments:

  • Heroclix, Kaijudo, Magic, and Yu-gi-oh! Tournaments (all have materials fees)
  • Malifaux Tournament from SoCal Malifaux.

About 98% of games were free to all attendees; only the Sanctioned Tournament Gaming had a materials fee. Every participant received prize support and every winner received even more while supplies last. Pick up game-play entries or bring your own products. Players who brought their own sealed deck could have them inspected by one of the sanctioned judges.
