Important Information Regarding Programs and Autographs at Comic-Con

All event and program rooms have limited capacity as set by the Fire Marshal. Even though your badge is needed to get into all events, it does not guarantee you access to any event if it has reached its capacity. We do not clear rooms between events. Most autograph signings are of a limited nature. Your badge does not guarantee autographs at any event.
CCI Press

Pre-Registration for Press
Is Now Closed

If you have pre-registered and have not submitted the required verification materials, please do so to the address given to you in your registration email by the June 13th deadline. If you have submitted materials and received your validation code but have not printed out your confirmation barcode, please login using the information given in the email that was sent with your validation code to complete your registration.

Due to Convention Center capacity issues, onsite press is limited this year and we are not able to accommodate onsite registration for bloggers or podcasters.

Because of Convention Center capacity issues, it may be that NO onsite press registration will be possible for this year. However, should limited onsite registration be available, please read below.

If you have a question that is not answered on this page, please email pressreg@comic-con.org.

Pre Registered members of the press are admitted to Comic-Con with a complimentary press pass. This pass is good for entry to all of the events held at Comic-Con (space permitting). The pass, however, does not allow for early entry into the Exhibit Hall or programming seminars and does not necessarily guarantee seating.

Any videotaping, filming, or recording of any manner which will be used for commercial purposes (non-news) must first obtain written permission from Comic-Con International.

Because of a variety of rules governing the San Diego Convention Center and Comic-Con International, wheeled carts or hand carts are not allowed onto the convention floor.

Additionally, camera crews, while free to roam the center, cannot set up equipment in a fixed manner (i.e. lights, chairs, etc.) without prior approval.

Please read the following entirely for onsite registration.

Not following these directions could result in a delay or non-issue of a press pass.

Verification Material Requirements should onsite registration be available
