WonderCon Anaheim 2017 Professional Registration is now OPEN!  There will be no onsite professional registration. Applications and verification materials are due by March 3, 2017. 
Online professional badge registration will close March 15, 2017 or when capacity is reached. We encourage you to register today!

To receive information from our professional registration department, sign in to your Comic-Con Member ID account and select the “OPT-OUTS” option on the "My Account" tab. Make sure you have not checked the “Email Opt-Out” box. If you have selected to opt-out of email notifications from Comic-Con, you will not be notified of important registration updates.

Before you may apply or register for WonderCon Anaheim 2017, you must first determine your professional verification status.  All professional applicants fall into one of two categories: First-Time Applicant or Returning Professional.

To determine your category, log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account and click the "Professionals" tab. If you are a returning professional, your member class will be “Professional” and your professional verification status will be “DUE” or “NOT DUE” (see examples above). If you are a first-time professional applicant, no "Professionals" tab will be displayed and you must submit a professional application by March 3, 2017.  

If your Professional Verification Status is NOT DUE: Simply log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account, select the "Professionals" tab, and click the WonderCon Anaheim 2017 “Click here to register your badge now!” link. Be sure to register your guest badge(s) when you submit the online request form. You cannot return to the online registration system at a later date to request guest badges.
If your Professional Verification Status is DUE or you are applying as a FIRST TIME PROFESSIONAL:  You must fill out an application and submit the required verification materials by March 3, 2017. The application and required documents can be found below in the “Information and Application for Professionals” PDF.

NOTE: All professional badges registered before February 24 will be mailed in advance.  Your professional badge and guest badges will be mailed to the address on file in your Comic-Con Member ID account. Please log into your Comic-Con Member ID account and confirm your address is correct before you register. Badges registered after February 24 will be available for pick-up onsite at the Professional Registration Area in Hall D of the Anaheim Convention Center.

Professional Guest Badges

Each verified professional may request a complimentary WonderCon Anaheim 2017 badge for up to two guests, until capacity is reached. All professional guests must have their own valid and confirmed Comic-Con Member ID. Guest badges are limited, and not all guests can be accommodated. Professional guest badges may be used to register up to two adults. Junior guests and children (age 17 and under) are free with a professional badge and do not count toward your guest limit. Junior and child badges must be registered onsite at the WonderCon Anaheim Professional Registration Area. The junior and/or child must be present to receive a badge. There will be no onsite registration for adult professionals or guests.

If you have already submitted a “WonderCon Anaheim 2017 Application for Professionals” please allow 3-4 weeks for processing and review.

WonderCon Professional Terms & Conditions

The only way to apply for a professional badge is to submit a “WonderCon Anaheim 2017 Application for Professionals,” and verification materials and be approved by Comic-Con International before the deadline date posted above. Professionals must provide verification materials demonstrating their continued qualifying work in the industry every three years.

Professional verification and approval is ultimately at the discretion of Comic-Con International.

Comic-Con International (CCI) / WonderCon Anaheim (WCA) strongly recommends that you email your professional application and verification materials. Should you choose to mail in your application and verification materials, we suggest that you send them via FedEx, UPS, USPS certified mail, or any service that provides a delivery receipt. CCI/WCA is not responsible for lost applications and/or materials that were sent without tracking or delivery confirmation.

A WonderCon Anaheim professional badge is good for entry to all of the events held at WonderCon Anaheim (space permitting). The WonderCon Anaheim professional badge, however, does not allow for early entry into the Exhibit Hall, programming rooms, events, or guaranteed seating. Please keep in mind that professional registration is a courtesy and your WonderCon Anaheim professional badge is non-transferable. You may not transfer or sell your WonderCon Anaheim professional badge. A professional badge has no monetary value and you are not entitled to a refund of any amount for your complimentary professional badge. Duplicate badges of any type are not allowed. Lost or undelivered badges may be replaced onsite in the Professional Registration Area.

As always, the issuance of a professional badge is at the sole discretion of Comic-Con International/ WonderCon Anaheim.
